| It is important to use the correct seat appropriate to your child's weight. For example infant carriers group 0+ can be used up to 13kgs rear facing. It is recommended that young children face rearwards for as long as possible. Move onto group 1 car seats when your child has exceeded the weight limit for the group 0+ or their head has reached the top of the infant carrier. Group 1 car seats can be used from a minimum of 9 kilos up to 18 kilos or when your child's eye line is higher than the seat's highest point. The next stage group 2-3 should be used from a minimum of 15 kilos to 36 kg's. |
